Mr. Kishor Hampiholi

Mr. Kishor Hampiholi has done his Bachelor’s in Commerce (B.com) from Rashtrasanta Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University. He is a Nritya Visharad and Nritya Alankar in Bharatanatyam from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyala Mandal, Mumbai. Apart from that he is a proud owner of Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A) from Nagpur University and Master of Arts in Bharatanatyam from Indira Kala Sangeet University, Khairagarh, and MP. Mr. Hampiholi started learning Bharatanatyam at the age of ten years and started his practice in Nagpur in 1978; later in 1986 he went to Chennai to receive training under Guru. Padmashree. Adyr. Sri K Lakshman and performed his Arangetram in 1992. He has received his training in Carnatic Music from late Smt. Kamakshi Srinivasan (Tanjore Sisters). Apart from founding Swar Sangam Sanskrutik Manch and Kishor Nritya Niketan, he has many awards and achievements to his credit. He is a proud recipient of “Excellence Award for National Social Activity” for Bharatanatyam by Global Achievers Foundation in Dec’12.
Kishor Hampiholi has choreographed the first prize winner ‘Baredi’ dance, by South Central Zone Cultural Center, Nagpur, which was performed on the occasion of Republic Day 2017-18, in the presence of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and President Ramnath Kovind in New Delhi, other ASEAN leaders and ministers of India.
